Dear fellow Mac addicts-

I thinks this is the straw that’s finally braking this camels back with mac makeup.
This this last year being an over all disappointment launch and product wise for me I am very heart broken to say that with the new pigment prices I am done with mac until they start respecting their customers and I hope you all join me. Bellow is a letter I just wrote 5 min ago and would like some input on. If well enough the way it is I encourage the rest of you to copy and paste (and even add on or take away if you like) and send it to MAC expressing your feelings! I feel we all need to get together on this, to have them either lower the price or give us our old product back!!!

Please please encourage your friends and other members to do the same!!! Its just a copy and click away- repost to other mac sites and lets rally.

I have De Menthe e/s for sale, it's been used so there's a dip in it, but of course still plenty left. Is $20 plus shipping completely off? I've been off with prices a few times before, so now I ask before I set the price in stone :)



And another thing.. I can take pictures myself, well, OKAY pictures, they're not perfect at all. But I need some pictures with bright makeup, I can take them myself, but they have to be all glamourous and something people see if I put it on an ad for example. You know, something you feel the need to check out - I can do the makeup my self and pictures and everything, it's just the editing. Editing to get the perfect glowy skin and get the colors a lot bolder, sculpting the face and so on... I can remove blemishes and create a suntan and do the basic stuff easily enough, but I have no idea how to do the other stuff so it looks nice and professional...
It's for my own company (it's pretty small still, so I want to advertise a bit), and I try to do it personally with putting my own pictures on it, don't really want to copy-paste from the internet anymore...
So, is there anybody in here who can do this, or knows someone who can? I'm willing to pay for this service of course, as I know it takes quite some time to do just one picture.
I hope some of you can help :)

So I have no idea if somebody else has posted anything like this before because I have been busy and I haven't followed the community like I used to :( But, I wanted to share with you this email I got from MAC when I emailed them about how upset I was regarding the new pigment packaging.
 
What do you guys think? I know I never finish piggies anyways, but still, the fact that we are getting less product and paying the same amount of money as before makes me upset. Grr.

Anyways, so this is what they told me:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your interest in M.A.C.

With regards to your concerns, many factors contribute to the cost of our products, such as quality of ingredients, state-of-the-art product formulations, quality assurance programs and so forth.  Like all manufacturers, we are also challenged with constantly rising costs, particularly in shipping and distribution.  In view of this, it is sometimes necessary to either increase the suggested retail price or decrease the net weight.  We hope you can understand that cost increases are sometimes required if we are to maintain the high quality product standards which our customers expect from us.  We do believe, however, that our products offer excellent value for the price.

We trust the above addresses your concern. We hope that we have the opportunity to serve you in the near future.
